Δύο νέοι, ο Αντώνης και ο Κωστής, πηγαίνουν στην Καλαμπάκα, κοντά στα Μετέωρα. Ο Αντώνης είναι δημοσιογράφος και ο Κωστής κάνει μεταφράσεις. Εκεί γνωρίζει ο ένας τον άλλο. Μαθαίνουν για τα μανιτάρια της περιοχής. Στην Καλαμπάκα συναντούν έναν νέο μοναχό που του αρέσει να μαγειρεύει. Πηγαίνουν σε ένα μοναστήρι για να φάνε, και τότε αρχίζει μια αστεία περιπέτεια.

Two young men, Andonis and Kostis, travel to Kalambaka, a town near the awesome rocks of Meteora and the monasteries on them. Antonis is a journalist and Kostis does translations. There they meet and get to know each other. Together, they learn about the various types of mushrooms that grow in the region. While In town, they meet Emmanouil, a young novice monk who likes to cook. He invites them to visit the monastery where he cooks for the other monks. And then, their amusing adventure starts.
