The present volume constitutes a collective work, compiled by the members of the Division for the Support and Promotion of the Greek Language of the CGL (Centre for the Greek Language). It includes the exam papers used during the exam periods 2015-2018 for A1 (Beginner) and A2 (Elementary) levels. Exam papers for A1 level are divided into two categories: A1 for children 8-12 years old and A1 for adolescents and adults. The book consists of four complete exam papers for each level, each one examining the following skills:
- Reading comprehension
- Listening comprehension
- Writing
- Speaking
At the end of the book there is an appendix with the answer key for the reading and listening comprehension test questions, as well as the transcripts of the audio files used in the listening tests.
