An Epic Story Traversing Time

Ithaka’s new king, Telemachos, mourns his father, Odysseus, the famed hero of the Trojan Wars. His father’s alleged killer, a mysterious stranger, claims to be Telegonos, Odysseus’ illegitimate son with the sorceress Kirke. Can this be really true and what measures is Telemachus prepared to take to keep his family and kingdom safe?

In present-day London, Dr Thea Sefton and the climate scientist Rob Hughes have continued their relationship. However, their happiness is short-lived after they quarrel and Rob is called away unexpectedly. When Rob becomes stranded in Antarctica by the polar winter, the rift between them widens with each passing day. And now back in Greece, Thea is profoundly moved by a mysterious grave marker, unearthed in an ancient cemetery of Athens, dedicated to a childless young man.
